The City of Toronto has announced the Vaccine Equity Transportation Plan, a multi-faceted plan to help ensure vulnerable residents and seniors can access COVID-19 vaccinations by removing barriers to transportation and making it easier to travel to clinics. This plan will help ensure that those who can go to clinic sites for vaccinations are able to, as this remains the fastest option.
This program is intended for those seniors aged 75 years old and over who have limited transportation options or who cannot afford transportation to vaccination appointments.
